Alan Fink has been drawing, painting, and taking photographs since he was 9 years old.
After establishing himself as a professional visual artist in 1972, he realized the thousands of images he had taken throughout his life provided an endless supply of subject matter for his paintings. He will admit however, that "some things in nature just cannot be duplicated by the human hand and sometimes a photograph should simply remain a photograph". When Alan is not painting in his studio in Reisterstown, MD you can usually find him on the Eastern Shore of the Delmarva peninsula shooting from sunrise til dawn.
